Hyderabad: A woman was stabbed to death in a residential building at Kavadiguda under the Gandhinagar police station limits on Tuesday morning.
The victim was identified as Shwetha. Police suspect that an unidentified person attacked her on the fourth floor of Ratnadeep Building before fleeing from the spot.
After receiving information, police teams along with the Clues Team reached the scene and collected forensic evidence.
Hyderabad police examine CCTV footage
Investigators are now examining CCTV footage from the apartment building and nearby areas to identify the suspect and determine the motive behind the murder.
Police shifted the body for postmortem examination. Meanwhile, the Gandhinagar police registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
Officials said further details are expected after the forensic analysis and review of surveillance footage are completed.
