Hyderabad, May 23: The Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TG POLYCET) 2026 results were released on Saturday, with 11 students jointly securing the first rank in the MPC stream. The results were announced by Commissioner of Collegiate and Technical Education A. Sridevasena along with State Board of Technical Education and Training Secretary A. Pullaiah.
A total of 98,029 students appeared for the examination across the state. Out of them, 81,307 candidates qualified in the MPC stream, registering a pass percentage of 82.94 percent. In the MBiPC stream, 79,652 students qualified, recording an overall pass percentage of 81.25 percent.
The students who secured the top rank in the MPC stream are Namala Lokesh from Warangal, Banothu Hemanth from Suryapet, Alwiya Shifali from Mancherial, Mohammad Mahaboob Arfaaz Ali from Khammam, Kotla Apoorva from Mahabubnagar, Annam Hari Krishna from Sangareddy, Jangala Avinash Goud from Nalgonda, Chilaka Nanda Vardhan Reddy from Suryapet, Kanduri Aditya Souri from Khammam, Rudroju Sajan from Siddipet, and Dureddy Vanmay Reddy from Nagarkurnool.
MeeSeva WhatsApp Service Delivers Results Directly
The Telangana government also introduced a digital facilities for students through the MeeSeva WhatsApp and chatbot platform. Under the initiative launched by the Electronic Service Delivery department, students who had already registered received their TG POLYCET results directly on their mobile phones through WhatsApp from 11:30 AM onwards.
The service was provided through the official MeeSeva Telangana WhatsApp number 8096958096. Officials said candidates were not required to send any separate request, as the results were automatically delivered in PDF format to registered mobile numbers immediately after the official declaration.
Among MBiPC candidates, Kotla Apoorva from Mahabubnagar and Rudroju Sajan from Siddipet secured the top rank jointly.
Officials stated that the new digital delivery system was introduced to make examination services faster, transparent, and more accessible for students and parents across Telangana. The government said the initiative reflects its focus on expanding citizen centric digital services under the leadership of IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu.
