Hyderabad, May 27: Water supply was disrupted in several parts of Hyderabad after Manjeera water pumping stations suffered power failures following heavy winds late Tuesday night.
According to officials, falling trees damaged electricity lines, leading to line trips at multiple locations and affecting pumping operations under Manjeera Phase I and II.
Officials said all pumps at Kalabgur, Rajampet and Patancheru pumping stations stopped functioning around midnight after power supply disruption from Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited.
