Hyderabad Advocate Murder | Hyderabad, May 30 (Maxim News): BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) on Saturday visited the residence of slain advocate Khaja Mohiuddin and expressed condolences to his family. He assured them of full support in their fight for justice. He also demanded strict action against those responsible for the murder.
KTR visited the family along with senior BRS leaders, including R.S. Praveen Kumar and Padi Kaushik Reddy. The delegation met family members and listened to their concerns. They also assured the family of continued support.

Later, speaking to the media, KTR alleged that the family was receiving threats from people linked to the accused. He claimed that some of them had connections with leaders in the ruling Congress party.
Therefore, KTR urged the Telangana government to provide immediate security to the family. He said the family should not live in fear while seeking justice.
“If the government fails to provide protection, I am ready to arrange private security for the family,” KTR said.

Meanwhile, KTR said Khaja Mohiuddin’s son is a practising lawyer with nearly eight years of experience. He stated that the son possesses documents related to alleged Wakf property encroachments. According to KTR, these records involve individuals running educational institutions and other businesses.
Furthermore, KTR alleged that disputes over Wakf properties could be one of the motives behind the murder. However, he said investigators must examine every angle and conduct a fair probe.
He also announced that he would write to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. KTR requested the government to set up a Fast Track Court for the case. In addition, he sought the appointment of a Special Public Prosecutor to ensure a speedy trial.
Moreover, KTR stressed that swift justice would strengthen public confidence in the legal system.
He also criticised the government’s handling of law and order. According to him, attacks on prominent individuals have raised public concern in recent months. Therefore, he urged authorities to act firmly and restore confidence among citizens.
The advocate’s murder has sparked political reactions across Telangana. As a result, several leaders have demanded a thorough investigation. Meanwhile, police continue their probe into the case.
