Addressing a press conference at his residence in Hyderabad, Pawan said Janasena was born in Hyderabad and has a strong presence across Telangana with more than one lakh party workers and supporters.

Extending Telangana Formation Day greetings, Pawan Kalyan said his affection for Telangana was beyond politics and did not emerge after state bifurcation. He stated that he never opposed Telangana statehood but objected to the manner in which Parliament carried out the bifurcation process.

He said he had consistently advocated for a socially inclusive Telangana and respected the aspirations of the people.

Pawan’s remarks came amid political controversy surrounding the proposed Janasena “Telangana Nava Nirmana Sabha,” which authorities did not permit.

Pawan Kalyan on Telangana Politics and Criticism

Pawan Kalyan clarified that Janasena intends to contest elections in Telangana and expand its political activities in the state. However, he maintained that the party seeks constructive change rather than political power alone.

Furthermore, Pawan questioned attempts to blame people from Andhra Pradesh for every issue faced by Telangana. He stressed that governments and ordinary citizens should not be treated as one entity. According to him, both Telugu states should maintain cordial relations and work together for development.

Responding to criticism from political opponents, Pawan said he had tolerated personal attacks and threats for more than a decade. Nevertheless, he maintained that he would continue raising issues affecting the public.

Pawan Kalyan asserted that Telangana is an integral part of India and that democratic voices should not face intimidation.

Pawan also highlighted his association with Telangana before statehood. He said he travelled extensively across the region, including tribal areas and villages, long before entering active politics. He recalled participating in social initiatives and supporting local communities during difficult times.

Allegations regarding an alleged encroachment of a lake,

Addressing allegations regarding an alleged encroachment of a lake, Pawan challenged the accusations and said he was ready to hand over the land to the government immediately if any illegal occupation was proven. He urged authorities to conduct a transparent inquiry and make the findings public.

Meanwhile, Pawan criticised what he described as selective political targeting. He said he had maintained restraint even when leaders from different parties attacked him. However, he added that he would continue to defend his views and his party’s position whenever necessary.

The Janasena chief also reiterated that political differences should not damage the relationship between the people of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. He called for mutual respect, democratic dialogue and a focus on development rather than regional hostility. (Maxim News) .
