Hyderabad, June 12: Telangana State Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin on Thursday welcomed the first batch of Hajj pilgrims returning from Saudi Arabia at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad.
The Minister received the pilgrims and congratulated them on successfully completing the sacred pilgrimage. He also distributed bottles of holy Zamzam water and interacted with the returning devotees.
Azharuddin Praises Hajj Arrangements
Speaking to the media, Mohammed Azharuddin said the arrangements made for Hajj pilgrims this year were highly successful. He appreciated the security measures at the airport and the facilities provided to pilgrims throughout their journey.
The Minister thanked the Airport Authority, the Telangana State Hajj Committee and the State Government for ensuring smooth arrangements. He also expressed gratitude to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for taking special interest in the welfare of Hajj pilgrims and extending all necessary support.
Commitment to Better Facilities for Pilgrims
Azharuddin said the government remains committed to improving services for pilgrims in the coming years.

“I am delighted to see the happiness on the faces of the Hajj pilgrims. We have done our best this year and will work even harder to provide better facilities in the future,” he said.
The Minister also prayed for continued opportunities to serve the community and congratulated all pilgrims who returned home after completing the Hajj pilgrimage.
Hajj Committee Oversees Welcome Arrangements
Telangana State Hajj Committee Chairman Khusro Pasha Biyabani supervised the reception arrangements at the airport. He was joined by Hajj Committee members, officials and community representatives.
AIMIM MLC Mirza Rahmat Baig, corporators and other dignitaries also attended the event and extended their greetings to the returning pilgrims.
The occasion marked the arrival of the first batch of Telangana pilgrims after the completion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
