Hyderabad, July 4: Former minister and BRS MLA Harish Rao on Friday rejected Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka’s claim on the BRS government debt. He said the figures were false and politically driven.
He also alleged that Congress had added its own Rs. 15,000 crore debt to the BRS account. He said the total debt payable when the BRS government left office was Rs. 4.14 lakh crore.

Harish Rao said KCR implemented welfare schemes such as Kalyana Lakshmi and KCR Kit. He added that KCR never stopped welfare work for lack of funds. He also accused Congress leaders of using their experience only for scams.
