Hyderabad, July 13: The Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG TET) 2026 results were declared on Monday. Candidates can check their results on the official website using their hall ticket number, TET Chairman Naveen Nicholas announced.
The results include candidates’ marks, qualification status and other examination details. The TG TET 2026 examinations were conducted in 10 sessions between June 16 and June 22.
According to officials:
- Total applicants: 1,53,752
- Candidates appeared: 1,15,028
- In-service teachers: 23,623
- Other candidates: 91,405
- Qualified candidates: 50,544
- Overall pass percentage: 43.94%
Community-wise pass percentages were:
- ST: 51.03%
- BC: 40.36%
- EWS: 22.43%
- General: 20.15%
Officials said ST candidates recorded the highest success rate among all categories.
Female candidates recorded better results than male candidates across all sections of the examination.
Paper-II (Mathematics)
- Women appeared: 32,555
- Women qualified: 12,495
- Men appeared: 11,567
- Men qualified: 5,488
Among transgender candidates, four out of six who appeared in the Mathematics paper qualified.
Paper-II (Social Studies)
- Women appeared: 23,008
- Women qualified: 5,009
Officials noted that women achieved a higher pass percentage than men in all sections of the TG TET 2026 examination.
In Paper-I, two out of four transgender candidates qualified.
Candidates can access their results by visiting the official TG TET portal and entering their hall ticket number.
