Muzaffarabad/Internet/Hyderabad, July 15 (Maxim News): Tension prevailed in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Monday after eight protesters were killed in firing by Pakistani Rangers. The incident took place as the protesters were preparing to hold a massive rally in the region’s capital Muzaffarabad on July 15. Pakistani security forces opened fire on a large gathering of women and protesters at the Rawalpindi bus stand. Pakistani Rangers fired tear gas shells and opened fire on them. A day before the incident, PoK expatriates living in the US had protested in front of the White House in Washington.
They urged the international community to intervene in the worsening humanitarian crisis in their region. Around a hundred people participated in the event and demanded immediate pressure on Pakistan to withdraw its troops from civilian areas in PoK. India on Tuesday strongly criticized Pakistan over the ongoing protests in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. In a statement, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs accused Islamabad of decades of systemic exploitation, denial of fundamental rights and administrative repression in the region.
A new video has surfaced showing Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants training for waterborne operations at the Mangla Dam in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The video shows Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) members swimming and undergoing water-related training. A video emerged last week in which Harris Dar, a US-designated terrorist who was suspended by India after the Pahalgam terror attack, was seen talking to new recruits about something big happening this year.
