Hyderabad, July 17: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) and the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education on Friday announced the DOST 2026 special phase admission schedule to fill vacant undergraduate seats across degree colleges in the State.
The special phase has been introduced after a large number of degree seats remained vacant following earlier rounds of admissions.

According to the schedule, online registration will be open from July 20 to July 26.
Candidates seeking admission under special categories, including Persons with Disabilities (PH), Children of Armed Personnel (CAP), Sports, and Extra Curricular Activities, must attend certificate verification on July 27.
Students can exercise web options from July 20 to July 27. Authorities have advised candidates to select as many options as possible to improve their chances of securing a seat.
The provisional seat allotment will be announced on July 30.
Candidates allotted seats must complete online self reporting between July 30 and August 1. They must also report to the allotted college on July 31 or August 1 to confirm admission.
Students who registered earlier but did not receive a seat can participate in the special phase using their existing DOST ID and PIN.
The special phase is also open to students who have not yet registered on DOST. Fresh applicants can register by paying a ₹400 registration fee.
However, candidates who have already confirmed their admission through the college confirmation OTP are not eligible to participate in the special phase. (Maxim News)
