Hyderabad family tragedy in California | Hyderabad, July 22 (Maxim News): A tragic road accident in California, United States, claimed the lives of three members of a Hyderabad family and left two others injured. The incident has plunged relatives and residents of Saidabad Colony in Hyderabad’s Old City into grief.
The victims have been identified as Salma (45), wife of Shaik Naveed, their 10-year-old son Hafez Omer, and their 16-year-old daughter Hafeza Neha Shaik. All three died in the accident.
Shaik Naveed, a native of Saidabad Colony, and his younger daughter sustained injuries in the crash. They are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in the United States. Their condition has not been officially disclosed.

Following the tragedy, AIMIM Yakutpura MLA Jaffar Hussain Meraj visited the family’s residence in Saidabad to offer his condolences.
The MLA met the bereaved family members and assured them of all possible support during this difficult time. He also said assistance would be extended in coordinating with the Indian Embassy and other concerned authorities if family members need to travel to the United States. He further assured legal guidance, if required.
Meanwhile, authorities in California have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
The incident has deeply saddened residents of Saidabad Colony, where the family is well known. Friends, relatives and neighbours have expressed shock over the tragedy and are praying for the speedy recovery of Shaik Naveed and his younger daughter.
