Hyderabad, July 26: Former Narsampet MLA and senior Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader Peddi Sudarshan Reddy suffered a heart attack at his residence in Hanamkonda on Thursday. He was admitted to Rohini Hospital, where doctors said his condition is critical.
Following reports of his health condition, BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao, BRSLP Deputy Leader T. Harish Rao and other party leaders left for Warangal to visit the former legislator.
The leaders also spoke to doctors at Rohini Hospital over the phone to enquire about Sudarshan Reddy’s condition and the treatment being provided.
Peddi Sudarshan Reddy began his political career with the then Telangana Rashtra Samithi, now the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, from Nallebelli mandal in the erstwhile Warangal district.
He was elected as a ZPTC member in 2001 and later served as the party’s district president and a State politburo member.
Sudarshan Reddy contested the Narsampet Assembly constituency in 2014, 2018 and 2023. He won the 2018 Telangana Assembly election and served as the MLA from the constituency
