Hyderabad, July 26: Two 17-year-old boys were killed and another teenager was injured in a road accident under the Kukatpally Police Station limits on Sunday, July 26.
The deceased were identified as Mahesh and Lakshmi Teja.
According to the police, the three teenagers were travelling on a scooter to play cricket when a speeding tipper lorry allegedly rammed their vehicle.
The impact left Mahesh and Lakshmi Teja dead on the spot, while the third teenager sustained injuries. His condition has not been officially disclosed.
After receiving the alert, Kukatpally Police reached the accident site, registered a case and began an investigation into the incident.
The bodies of the deceased were shifted to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident, including the role of the tipper lorry driver.
