Hyderabad, July 26: Flood inflows have started reaching the Jurala Project after water was released from the Narayanpur Dam, bringing fresh inflows into the reservoir on Sunday.
Officials said 3,227 cusecs of floodwater is currently flowing into the project.
The fresh inflows are expected to improve the storage level of the Jurala reservoir if the present flow continues.
The full reservoir level (FRL) of the Jurala Project is 318.516 metres, while the current water level stands at 316.09 metres.
The project has a full storage capacity of 9.657 TMC, and the present water storage is 5.318 TMC.
Water resources officials are monitoring the inflows and reservoir levels as rainfall activity continues in the upper catchment areas.
