Hyderabad Minority Toppers Felicitation Programme Reviewed by Azharuddin

Hyderabad, August 12 (Maxim News): Telangana Minister for Minorities Welfare and Public Enterprises Mohammed Azharuddin reviewed arrangements for the Chief Minister’s felicitation programme scheduled for August 13.

The programme will honour meritorious students from minority communities who excelled in Group I, Group II, IIT JEE, EAPCET and other competitive examinations. It will also recognise toppers from the Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society in SSC and Intermediate examinations.

The minister held a high level review meeting at the Telangana Secretariat on Wednesday. He directed officials to ensure smooth coordination and adequate facilities for students, their families and guests.

## Hyderabad Minority Toppers Felicitation Programme Focuses on Academic Excellence

Azharuddin said recognition can encourage more minority students to pursue higher education. He also said the achievements of the toppers can motivate young people to prepare for competitive examinations with greater confidence.

Meanwhile, the minister stressed coordination among departments handling the event. He directed officials to make arrangements for security, traffic management, sanitation and medical assistance.

He also reviewed fire safety measures and other civic facilities required at the venue. Officials were asked to complete all arrangements in advance and maintain close coordination throughout the programme.

Telangana Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir, TGMREIS President Faheem Qureshi, Minorities Welfare Department Secretary B. Shafiullah and Principal Secretary Ahmed Nadeem attended the meeting.

Senior officials from several departments also participated. They included the Hyderabad District Collector, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police and Additional Commissioner of Police for Traffic.

The GHMC Commissioner, Telangana State Disaster Response and Fire Services Director General, Horticulture Commissioner and Information and Public Relations Commissioner also attended.

Representatives from Transco and the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board joined the review. The Hyderabad District Medical and Health Officer also took part.

The broad participation reflects the government’s focus on coordinated arrangements for the event. It also covers essential public services and emergency preparedness.

The Minorities Welfare Department said it is taking necessary steps to make the programme a meaningful recognition of academic achievement. The event will also highlight the talent and aspirations of minority students across Telangana.
