Hyderabad, Sept. 6: BRS chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) directed party MLAs and MLCs to attend the upcoming Assembly sessions.
KCR asked them to participate in every discussion in the Legislative Assembly and Council. He also directed them to hold the government accountable on public issues.
He urged BRS legislators to highlight what he described as the policies and failures of the Congress and BJP in both Houses.
KCR Targets Congress Government Over Governance
Speaking ahead of the Assembly session, KCR criticised Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s remarks inside and outside the Assembly.
He alleged that Revanth Reddy was making baseless statements because he had failed to govern the State effectively. KCR also called the Congress government’s 1,000 day rule a failure.
KCR claimed the Congress would lose the next election. He alleged that the party’s leaders were aware of the situation and were therefore targeting the BRS.
He also criticised the Speaker’s conduct in the House. KCR alleged that the Speaker was acting with a biased attitude and called it undemocratic.
KCR further alleged that the State government had failed across several sectors. He said Telangana was declining instead of progressing under the present government.
He also objected to repeated demands for him to attend the Assembly and debate with the Chief Minister. KCR alleged that some remarks against him had referred to his death.
The BRS chief urged party legislators to raise public concerns during the sessions. He asked them to question the government on its performance and policies.
