The police stopped the BRS MLAs and MLCs who came to the assembly wearing black T-shirts to protest the failure of the Congress’s 1000-day rule. On this occasion, a scuffle broke out between the police and the BRS MLAs. In this sequence, the police arrested the BRS MLAs including KTR and Harish Rao. They were forcibly put in a vehicle and taken to the Bhavan.

KTR suffered injuries on his hand and forehead in the scuffle with the police. Harish Rao fell down in the scuffle with the police. At that time, the police behaved inhumanly. They trampled on his hand. After this incident, Harish Rao protested by removing his T-shirt and wearing a banyan when they were not allowed to enter the assembly wearing black T-shirts.
