Cyberabad Traffic Management Reviewed In Key Areas

Hyderabad, Sept. 11: Cyberabad Traffic Joint Commissioner Sunpreet Singh reviewed traffic management and enforcement measures in RC Puram and KPHB areas on Friday.

The Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad, visited RC Puram Traffic Police Station at about 11:30 am. He reviewed the station’s functioning and traffic regulation measures.

Sunpreet Singh, IPS, was accompanied by DCP Traffic II Sheshadrini Reddy, IPS, ADCP Traffic II A. Veeranna and other police personnel.

During the visit, the Joint Commissioner reviewed the duties handled by traffic police staff. He also sought details about key traffic points that officers attend each day.

The officer reviewed traffic enforcement data for 2025 and 2026. He compared the figures and issued instructions to improve enforcement further.

Cyberabad traffic management reviewed amid road works

The Joint Commissioner also reviewed ongoing road development works in the RC Puram area. The review covered the RUB, Lingampally Flyover and NH 65 road development works.

He directed traffic officials to ensure effective regulation during the construction work. He also stressed measures to reduce inconvenience for commuters.

The instructions focused on managing traffic movement while the road works continue. Officials were directed to take suitable measures to maintain smooth movement around affected locations.

Later, Sunpreet Singh visited Lingampally Railway Station. He reviewed traffic movement in and around the station.

He also enquired about bus facilities connecting the railway station with nearby areas. In addition, he reviewed train operations and passenger movement at the station.

The review covered passenger footfall during morning and evening peak hours. Officials provided details about passengers boarding and deboarding during those periods.

KPHB traffic points get on ground inspection

The Joint Commissioner later visited major traffic locations under KPHB Traffic Police Station limits. He personally inspected traffic conditions at Pragathi Nagar U Turn and Remedy U Turn.

He reviewed vehicle movement and congestion during peak hours. He also examined traffic issues reported at the two locations.

Following the inspection, he issued instructions to traffic personnel for better regulation. The directions focused on preventing congestion and maintaining smooth vehicle movement.

Officials were also asked to take timely action at identified congestion points. Such measures aim to support uninterrupted traffic flow and improve convenience for road users.

The inspection covered both enforcement and traffic management needs. It also included areas affected by major road development projects and locations with significant commuter movement.

The Cyberabad Traffic Police will continue monitoring these points as part of routine traffic management. Officers will also assess peak hour movement and take timely measures where congestion develops.

The review highlighted the need for active traffic regulation at busy junctions. It also underlined the importance of coordination during road development works and around major public transport points.
