Chennai/Hyderabad, Sept. 14 (Maxim News) : Unique Ganesh idols celebrating Tamil actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay’s cinematic and political journey have become a major attraction in Chennai’s Kodungaiyur RK Nagar during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
Organisers have created three different Ganesh idols, each representing a distinct phase of Vijay’s journey. The creative installation combines his film career, political entry and an imagined future as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.
The first idol features a look inspired by Vijay’s character in the blockbuster film *Ghilli*. The deity has been designed in the style of a kabaddi player, reflecting one of the actor’s popular cinematic roles.
The second idol represents Vijay’s entry into politics. It depicts him in a white shirt and khaki trousers, wearing a TVK party scarf and appearing to campaign during an election.
Vijay themed Ganesh idols attract fans
The third idol presents an aspirational portrayal of Vijay as the Chief Minister. It features him in a black coat, white shirt and Louis Vuitton belt, along with his signature hand gesture.
The unusual theme has attracted people and Vijay fans from surrounding areas. Visitors have been taking photographs and recording videos of the idols.
The images and videos have also gained attention on social media, where photographs of the Vijay themed Ganesh idols are being widely shared.
The installation has emerged as one of the distinctive attractions of this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in the area, combining popular cinema, politics and festive creativity. (Maxim News)
