Hyderabad, Sept. 20: A 19-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy were killed in a road accident at Yellareddyguda near Vampuguda in Jawaharnagar on Saturday night.
The victims were identified as Deepsika, 19, and Amardoy, 15.
According to police, the two were travelling on an Activa scooter when a tipper truck allegedly rammed their vehicle.
Police said the duo had visited a Vinayaka mandapam for a community meal.
They were returning home when the tipper truck collided with their scooter.
The impact left both victims critically injured. They died at the spot, police said.
Jawaharnagar Police Investigate Fatal Accident
After receiving information, Jawaharnagar police reached the accident site.
Police shifted the bodies to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem examination.
A case has been registered in connection with the accident.
Meanwhile, police are investigating the circumstances that led to the collision.
The role of the tipper truck driver and the cause of the accident are being examined as part of the investigation.
