Vikarabad, Sept. 23: Police detained a government school teacher after a girl student allegedly complained of inappropriate behaviour in Parigi.
The incident came to light after the student reportedly informed her guardians about the teacher’s alleged conduct.
The guardians later approached Parigi police and lodged a complaint against the teacher.
Police detained the teacher and began questioning him following the complaint.
Police Probe Alleged Misconduct With Students
Investigators are collecting details from the student and her guardians as part of the inquiry.
The guardians have also reportedly alleged that the teacher had previously behaved inappropriately with female students.
Police are examining these allegations and are investigating whether there were any earlier complaints against the teacher.
The incident has raised concerns among parents about the safety of students in schools in the Parigi area.
A separate allegation involving a female student was also reported in the Doma police station limits recently.
Police are expected to establish the facts after completing their investigation.
