Hyderabad, Oct. 5 (Maxim News) : Anjuman Muslim Danishwaran Osmania has urged the Telangana government to nominate Dr Charakonda Venkatesh as a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) under the Governor’s quota.
The Anjuman-e-Muslim Danishwaran-e-Osmanian appealed to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to consider his educational, political and social contributions.
The organisation described Dr Charakonda Venkatesh as a highly qualified academic with a PhD from Osmania University.
It also highlighted his association with the Telangana movement and his active involvement in state affairs.
Dr Venkatesh served as an active member of the Telangana Education Commission constituted by the present government.
According to the organisation, he contributed to the commission’s work for nearly two years.
Political Experience and Educational Contributions
The organisation also highlighted Dr Venkatesh’s experience in the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC).
He served as a TPCC spokesperson from 2017 to 2021.
He subsequently held the spokesperson’s position for a second term from 2021 to 2022. Later, he served as TPCC general secretary from 2022 to 2023.
Anjuman Muslim Danishwaran Osmania stated that his academic qualifications and political experience make him a suitable candidate for the nominated MLC position.
It also emphasised his association with the Telangana movement and contributions to education.
Appeal to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy
The organisation appealed to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and the Telangana government to consider Dr Venkatesh’s nomination under the Governor’s quota.
It urged the government to take appropriate steps in recognition of his qualifications and public service.
