Hyderabad: A newly married woman died after falling from a two-wheeler and coming under a bus near D-Mart in Malakpet on Saturday afternoon.
The woman was travelling with her husband when the accident occurred near a traffic signal. According to eyewitnesses, the couple had stopped at the signal before moving forward when it turned green.
The man reportedly lost control of the two-wheeler. The woman slipped off the vehicle and fell onto the road, coming under the rear wheels of a bus.
She sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. The incident caused concern among people in the area.
Police Investigate Malakpet Bus Accident
Police reached the spot after receiving information about the accident. They shifted the woman’s body to the mortuary for a postmortem examination.
