Rangareddy/Hyderabad, Oct 11 (Maxim News): A motorcyclist sustained serious head injuries after an RTC bus allegedly hit his two-wheeler at Nagarguda junction in Shabad mandal, Rangareddy district, on Sunday.
The victim was identified as Mantrala Narasimhulu, a resident of Erravalli, according to the initial police investigation. Local residents and motorists shifted him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred at Nagarguda junction in the Chevella constituency. The bus reportedly belonged to the Shadnagar depot and was travelling at high speed when it struck the motorcycle.
Police Investigate Shadnagar Depot Bus Accident
According to police and local accounts, the bus was being driven recklessly, causing concern among motorists at the junction. The collision left the biker with serious head injuries.
Police reached the scene after receiving information and inspected the accident site. A case was registered based on the victim’s complaint, and an investigation is underway.
Local residents expressed anger over alleged overspeeding and reckless driving by RTC bus drivers. They urged Shadnagar depot authorities to take steps to prevent similar accidents.
Police have not announced the findings of the investigation. The circumstances leading to the collision remain under examination.
