Bora confirmed her release in a post on X at 6:51 am on Saturday. Her release followed hours of uncertainty over her whereabouts, prompting friends, family members and associates to search for her and Dipke.
Around midnight on Friday, AISA said Bora had been traced to the R.K. Puram police station.

The organisation alleged that she had been kept in a detention van on the road for five hours as the only female detainee.

In an urgent representation to senior Delhi Police officials, advocate Supantha Sinha, representing Bora, said she was detained near Mandi House Metro Station while attempting to join a peaceful protest. The representation stated that she was later taken to an Anti-Narcotics Task Force facility in Palam.
Lawyers and party members searched multiple locations for information about the detained leaders. At least 150 other people were also reportedly detained amid heightened security across central Delhi during the “Lehra Do Tiranga” protest.
