Telangana Rain Alert | Hyderabad, Oct. 29: Telangana may receive light rain in eight northern districts on Thursday, October 29, as weather conditions remain unsettled following the recent cyclone over the Bay of Bengal.
According to Telangana Weatherman T Balaji, light showers are likely until afternoon in Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Rajanna Sircilla and Karimnagar districts.
Rainfall activity is expected to ease after noon. Meanwhile, Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana may receive isolated showers, while dry weather is likely to prevail in several areas.
Telangana Rain Alert | Bay of Bengal System May Bring More Rain to Telangana
Balaji said another low-pressure system could develop over the Bay of Bengal soon. He indicated that it might intensify into a cyclone and move towards the Andhra Pradesh coast between November 2 and 6.
The developing system could bring rainfall across Telangana. However, its track, intensity and likely impact will depend on how the weather system develops.
The latest forecast comes after Cyclone Arnab crossed the Andhra Pradesh coast on October 28. Its effects brought rainfall to several parts of Telangana, particularly eastern districts.

The India Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds of 30–40 kmph at isolated places in 12 Telangana districts on Thursday. These include Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Hanumakonda.

Hyderabad is likely to experience partly cloudy skies and hazy conditions during the morning. Isolated rainfall is also possible, with temperatures expected to reach around 32°C.
