Telangana Congress | Hyderabad, Oct 30: The Telangana Congress has arranged more than 100 sleeper buses to transport party workers to New Delhi for the INDIA bloc’s ‘Vote Bachao, Desh Bachao’ mega rally on November 1.
The rally will be held at Ramlila Maidan in the national capital on Sunday. It aims to protest alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and the deletion of voters’ names.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka left for Delhi on Friday.
Several Telangana ministers, MLAs, MPs and senior Congress leaders are also travelling to the national capital to participate in the rally.
The party initially planned to transport around 10,000 to 15,000 workers from Telangana through special trains.
However, South Central Railway reportedly denied permission for the special trains at the last minute, forcing Congress to make alternative travel arrangements.
Telangana Congress Plans Massive Participation in Delhi Rally
Following the reported denial of special trains, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud and Minister Ponnam Prabhakar joined hundreds of Congress workers in a protest at Secunderabad railway station.
Police reportedly took several protesters into custody during the demonstration.
Congress leaders criticised the Centre over the railway authorities’ decision and announced plans to ensure strong participation from Telangana.
The party subsequently arranged more than 100 special sleeper buses to transport workers to Delhi.

The INDIA bloc’s mega rally is scheduled for November 1 at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi. The programme will run from 10 am to 5 pm.
Delhi Police have reportedly granted permission for the event.
Why is the INDIA bloc organising the Delhi rally?
According to Congress, the rally aims to oppose alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls and the removal of voters’ names.
