RTC workers staged a protest at the Manuguru depot on Wednesday. They demanded severe punishment for passenger Banoth Mounika of Mittagudem village in Aswapuram mandal.
Manuguru DSP Ravinder Reddy and other police personnel reached the depot to assess the situation.
Meanwhile, workers at other depots across Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts also staged protests. They demanded justice for Pravalika’s family and better protection for employees on duty.
