Chennai, Nov. 5: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay, along with actor Trisha Krishnan, attended a wedding reception in Chennai on Thursday. The event was hosted for the daughter of YS Anil Reddy, cousin of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Vijay and Trisha were accompanied by Vijay’s mother, Shobha Chandrashekhar. Videos from the reception have gone viral on social media. The actors were seen smiling and posing with the newlyweds.
Vijay wore a brown suit, while Trisha appeared in a pink saree. In one video, they walked towards the stage to greet the couple. Vijay also interacted with Jagan Mohan Reddy and posed for photographs with him.
BRS working president KT Rama Rao and his wife, Shailima, also attended the reception.
Vijay and Trisha’s Public Appearances Draw Attention
Vijay and Trisha had earlier attended another wedding reception in Chennai in March. Their appearance came shortly after Vijay’s wife, Sangeetha, filed for divorce.
Although the divorce petition was later withdrawn, the actors continued to appear together publicly. They were also spotted in the United Kingdom in September. The two attended actor Ajith Kumar’s Michelin Le Mans Cup race at Silverstone Circuit.

Reports later said Trisha was in the city for a film shoot. She had reportedly attended the race to support Ajith.

Trisha has described Vijay as a close friend. She also attended his swearing-in ceremony and his first Independence Day parade as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.
Their appearances together have fuelled speculation since Sangeetha filed for divorce. Her petition reportedly cited alleged infidelity and an affair with a well-known actress. However, neither Vijay nor Trisha has publicly confirmed the rumours linking them.
