RMP Doctor Commits Suicide At AP Secretariat

Amaravati: Unable to bear the financial constraints, an RMP doctor from Nellore committed suicide at Secretariat in Velagapudi on Friday. He was later shifted to a hospital where he died on Saturday morning.

According to the reports, doctor Raja Gopal waited for the appointment of the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu since Friday morning to speak about his financial constraints.

But he was obstructed by the staff at the secretariat. Humiliated and depressed over his financial crisis, Gopal consumed poison and fell unconscious on the ground. Seeing the doctor consuming poison, the secretariat staff shifted him to a hospital.

Raja Gopal died on Saturday morning while undergoing treatment. No case was registered in connection with the incident.
