KCR Slams Modi, Naidu For False Charges
Hyderabad, Dec.2 (Maxim News): Claiming that his long cherished dream of giving safe and purified waters to every household in rural pockets of Telangana is coming true in one-and-a-half month, TRS Chief and Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today said and urged the people to vote for the ruling party for more welfare and development programs. Earlier the lands in the segment were parched and not getting waters due to negligence by the successive governments, he charged. KCR said he and Prof Jayashankar used to feel bad at the sorry state of affairs of the lands in the segment and now the TRS regime got 70,000 acres brought under irrigation. “By completing Vattem project, we will irrigate more acres and cultivate golden crops in the segment through Srisailam”, KCR said amid wild applause.
“The Congress and the TD ruled the State for 58 years and we have ruled for just four-and-a-half years after achieving statehood after 15 years long fight. Think and judge yourself as to who was doing best”, he said and asked the people whether they are getting waters for irrigation now in the segment as also 24 hours power to farm sector.
Seeking to know about getting pensions, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima, Rs 1 lakh for marriage of poor girls, 24 hour power to farm sector and other welfare schemes, he said that the TRS plan brought two bedroom housing free of cost to avoid loan problem to the poor. Give your mandate to the TRS to increase pensions, give unemployment pension and come up with new welfare schemes he said. He also slammed TD Chief N Chandrababu Naidu for meddling in Telangana politics. KCR expressed dismay and asked as to why the TD regime which built Hyderabad, did not give adequate power to farm sector. (Maxim News)
