Hyderabad, Dec.4 (Maxim News): Noting that there was a friendly alliance among ruling TRS, BJP and MIM parties in the State, Congress leader Manish Tiwari on Tuesday warned the people of the State that their vote would go to the BJP even if they voted for the TRS and MIM parties.
Addressing the media here today, Manish Tiwari termed the arrest of party’s working president A. Revanth Reddy as undemocratic and added that the arrest of their leader was reminding the Emergency rule in the State. He also alleged that TJS president Kodandaram was also arrested in the similar fashion earlier. He said there was no democratic rule in the State. He alleged that KCR had gone for early elections as he wanted to have an alliance with the BJP in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.
TPCC working president Mohammed Azharuddin also condemned the arrest of Revanth Reddy and alleged that the police were acting by crossing their limits. He demanded that the Election Commission hold the elections in a peaceful atmosphere in the State. (Maxim News)
