KCR Taking False Credit On Farm Sector: Anvesh Reddy
Hyderabad, Feb.23 (Maxim News): Congress Kisan Cell State chairman Anvesh Reddy on Saturday alleged that the State government was trying to take false credit regarding the agriculture sector without doing anything for the farmers.
Anvesh Reddy alleged that the farmers in the State did not benefit by the loan waiver scheme launched by the State government in its first spell and added that the government did not pay the loans of the farmers completely. This had led to the stoppage of the loans to the farmers from the banks.
Addressing mediapersons here today, Anvesh Reddy said the State government has once again allocated Rs 6,000 crore for the loan waiver scheme and doubted that it would repeat the same what it had done in its first term. Commenting on the Rythu Bandhu scheme, he alleged that even the 30% of farmers in the State did not receive the cash benefit under the scheme during the last year. He alleged that scores of farmers from different villages were being forced to make rounds to Tahsildar offices for correction of their names in land records as the government failed to implement its land record reform scheme.
