BJP Leaders Console Kin Of Inter Student Nagendra
Hyderabad, May 13 (Maxim News): State BJP president K. Laxman today visited the house of late D. Nagendra, who committed suicide recently since he failed in Intermediate examinations. He secured good marks in Intermediate first year, but failed in second year Maths ‘B’. He secured 9.2/10 in 10th Class and was a bright student. His parents are daily wage laborers in ECIL, having migrated from Palakol, (Yelamanchili) in West Godavari District.
Laxman accused the Board of Intermediate Education and the State government of failing to conduct the Intermediate examinations properly. He also demanded that Education Minister Jagadishwar Reddy resign from the post and sought a thorough inquiry on the issue and a criminal case be filed against Messrs Globarena Company. Laxman extended financial support to the family of D. Nagendra and also assured financial support to his brother’s education up to degree level.
Dr Laxman appealed to the Class 10 students not to take any hasty decision as the results are supposed to be announced today. The parents are also advised to be cautions about their kids and to be watchful.
