Hyderabad, May 18 (Maxim News): BJP Telangana president N Ramchander Rao alleged that the BRS party was deliberately targeting Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar and his family through a political conspiracy.
Addressing a media conference in Hyderabad on Sunday, Ramchander Rao accused the BRS of spending crores of rupees to run a campaign against Bandi Sanjay and his son Bhagirath.
He alleged that the opposition party was using its social media network to spread false propaganda against BJP leaders.
Ramchander Rao stated that Bandi Sanjay had not committed any wrongdoing and said the BJP would take action if any leader was found guilty.
However, he alleged that attempts were being made to defame the Union Minister as part of political vendetta.
“If any family member of Bandi Sanjay is found guilty in any matter, it will be dealt with legally as per law. There is no need to politicise the issue,” he said.
The BJP leader also defended Bhagirath seeking anticipatory bail, stating that obtaining advance bail was the legal right of every citizen.
He clarified that nobody had absconded in the case and said Bhagirath had already surrendered while respecting the legal process.
Ramchander Rao accused the BRS of trying to damage the reputation of BJP leaders through misinformation campaigns.
He further said people were closely observing such political tactics and would respond appropriately. (Maxim News)
