Hyderabad, May 18 (Maxim News): Hyderabad City Police has invited applications for the enrolment of 17 Special Police Officers (SPOs) in the Clues Team on a temporary basis.
The vacancies are open for photographers and videographers from ex-servicemen, ex-paramilitary personnel and retired police personnel of Telangana State.
According to the notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, CAR Headquarters and Training, Hyderabad, candidates applying under the ex-servicemen and ex-paramilitary categories must possess knowledge of photography and videography.
Officials said ex-servicemen should be below 58 years of age as on May 31, 2026. Ex-paramilitary personnel and retired police personnel who retired within the last two years are eligible to apply with an upper age limit of 62 years.
Selected candidates will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs 26,000. The appointment is temporary in nature and leave benefits will not be provided. Any leave taken during the service period will be treated as leave without pay.
Applicants must submit original and xerox copies of their discharge book, discharge certificate or retirement order along with Aadhaar card, PAN card, SBI passbook copy, voter ID card, caste certificate and three passport size photographs.
Hyderabad Police directed all interested candidates to submit their applications personally by visiting the SPOs Office at CAR Headquarters, Petlaburj, Hyderabad. Officials clarified that phone call applications will not be accepted. The last date for submission of applications is May 20, 2026, till 5 pm. (Maxim News)
