Revanth Reddy | Hyderabad, Sept. 24: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has been selected for the Aryadan Muhammed-2026 Best Public Servant Award, instituted by the Aryadan Muhammed Foundation in memory of the late Kerala Congress leader.
The award will be presented to Revanth Reddy at a function in Nilambur, Kerala, on Friday, September 25, marking the fourth death anniversary of Aryadan Muhammed.
According to Foundation Working Chairman and Nilambur MLA Aryadan Shoukath, Revanth Reddy was selected in recognition of his leadership and welfare initiatives focusing on farmers, backward classes and other communities in Telangana. The selection jury also highlighted his commitment to democratic values.
Revanth Reddy to Receive ₹1 Lakh, Citation and Memento
The selection jury comprised MP Benny Behanan, Kerala Revenue Minister A.P. Anil Kumar and writer and intellectual Kalpetta Narayanan.
The award carries a cash prize of ₹1 lakh, along with a citation and memento. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4 pm in Nilambur.
AICC General Secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal will deliver the Aryadan Muhammed memorial lecture during the event.
Aryadan Muhammed was a senior Congress leader from Kerala who represented Nilambur in the state Assembly multiple times and served as a minister in successive Kerala governments. The award has been instituted to honour his legacy of public service.
