Hyderabad, May 13 (Maxim News): The much-awaited meeting of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao with DMK Chief Stalin held today at Alwarpet residence in Chennai. Stalin welcomed the TRS supremo at his residence in Chennai. Both of them discussed on the possible federal front and emergence of regional parties to the core. KCR is understood to have sought support of the DMK in forging alliance of regional parties to form a federal front government at the Centre.
The TRS chief informed Stalin on the need for regional parties playing a key role at the Centre and the national parties should come to them to form government if they failed to win majority. They reportedly shared views on national political scenario, elections and results on May 23 and post-poll alliances by regional parties. Since he favored a non-BJP and non-Congress government at the Centre, KCR is said to have spoken on the same.
KCR’s meeting gets importance as he met with Stalin as he feels that regional parties will play a key role at the Centre. The TRS chief is learnt to have informed Stalin that he foresees a meagre chance of the Congress and the BJP to form government at the Centre. While other parties have supported the issues being suggested by KCR, Stalin may also support the same though he extended support to the Congress to form government.
Earlier, with family members, KCR visited Srirangam and other temples in Tiruchchi.
