Revanth Takes Oath In LS By Reading His Mobile

Hyderabad, June 18 (Maxim News): TPCC working president and Malkajgiri MP A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday took oath as member of the Lok Sabha while seeing his mobile. He read out the oath in Telugu from his mobile phone surprising other MPs from Telangana State. Revanth Reddy didn’t agree to take oath by reading out the note handed over to him by the officials of Parliament.

The oath taking ceremony of the MPs from the State began with administration of oath to Adilabad MP from BJP Soyam Babu Rao. Later, Peddapalli and Karimnagar MPs took oath in order. The other MPs like Nama Nageswara Rao, P. Ramulu, K. Venkat Reddy, P. Dayakar, K. Prabhakar Reddy and Kavitha Maloth also took their oath in Telugu. The four time MP from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi took oath in Urdu.

The MPs from BJP raised Vandemataram and Bharat Mata-ki-Jai slogans when Owaisi was taking oath. He concluded the oath with slogan “Jai Bheem, Jai Meem, Takbeer Allahu Akbar, Jai Hind”. Minister of State for Home G. Kishan Reddy, seated on the first row was seen gesticulating to his party MPs to cut down the slogans as Owaisi began taking his oath. (Maxim News)
