Hyderabad, July 13 (Maxim News): GHMC DEO chaired a weekly review meeting on the Special Intensive Revision 2026 with representatives of recognised political parties on Monday.
The DEO briefed all attendees on the progress of house-to-house enumeration. He also updated them on the collection and digitisation of Enumeration Forms across Hyderabad.
According to the DEO, close coordination among Booth Level Officers, Booth Level Agents, and political parties is essential.
He stressed that this coordination ensures every eligible elector gets covered during the enumeration phase. Furthermore, he directed Electoral Registration Officers and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers to strengthen voter awareness immediately.
Additionally, the DEO directed EROs and AEROs to use Tom-Tom and SAT Auto publicity to spread voter awareness. He instructed BLOs and BLO Supervisors to respond promptly to citizens and political party representatives.
Moreover, he directed all officials to follow Election Commission of India guidelines strictly at every stage of the process.

Furthermore, the DEO gave a clear instruction on Aadhaar. He said no BLO shall demand or collect an Aadhaar Card along with the Enumeration Form.
He reiterated that ECI guidelines do not require voters to submit any document during the enumeration phase. As a result, voters need only fill and return the form to their BLO.
Moreover, the DEO directed all BLOs and BLO Supervisors to stay available in their assigned field areas from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM throughout the enumeration period.
He also directed EROs and AEROs to furnish updated lists of BLOs, BLO Supervisors, and designated digitisation centres to political parties at every weekly meeting.
During the meeting, party representatives raised several concerns. These included voter awareness levels, BLO availability, Enumeration Form collection procedures, and the location of digitisation centres.
The DEO heard all concerns. In addition, he invited suggestions from all party representatives. He assured them that every genuine issue would receive prompt attention in line with ECI guidelines.
