Two Held For Preparing Fake Land Documents, One Absconding
Hyderabad, Aug.4 (Maxim News): Commissioner’s Task Force East Zone personnel today nabbed two miscreants, who were allegedly involved in preparing fake land registration documents and duping public. The police seized old non-judicial stamp papers, rubber stamps and other material from their possession.
Acting on a tip-off, the police caught Kranti Suresh Kumar, 62, Real Estate Business man of Alwal and Mohd Ali, 40, a Document writer at Secunderabad Court. Another suspect Satish, 40, was absconding.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police S Chaitanya Kumar said Suresh and Mohd Ali are licensed stamp vendors and sell non-judicial stamp papers near the Secunderabad court. “The duo purchased old non-judicial stamp papers from one Satish and sold it to public. The purchasers of stamp papers are mostly real estate brokers, who use old non-judicial stamp papers and create fake documents for property and approach courts to harass the genuine property owners,” said the official.
The suspects along with the property were handed over to Gandhinagar police station. (Maxim News)
