Minister Opens Vaccination Camp For Cattle In Alair
Hyderabad, Feb.1 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today said the State government was extending all support to the farmers, who were producing milk.
Inaugurated a vaccination program for animals in Yadadri-Bhuvangiri district here, along with whip G Sunitha and officials, the minister said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has a big heart for providing Rs 4 incentive to farmers per litre milk being supplied to the government dairies. He asked the farmers to make use of month-long vaccination to their cattle. He also said the State government was conducting a special vaccination drive for one-month to help protect health of over 84 lakh animals.
The minister said the government had distributed 65,000 buffalos on subsidy to the beneficiaries and the farmers have to be cautious on the health of their animals. He also said the milk producers should supply the milk to the government-run Vijaya Dairies and reap benefits. He asked the local people in Alair to provide land to farmers for setting up of sheep and fish markets there. The State government emerged No 1 in the country in welfare, agriculture and development. He also said Yadadri temple is being built to create history in the world. (Maxim News)
