Hyderabad, Feb.26 (Maxim News): Minister for Forests & Environment A Indrakaran Reddy, along with Minister V Prashant Reddy, today inaugurated an urban park at Sarangapur in Nizamabad district.
Speaking in the occasion, Indrakaran Reddy said 92 urban parks have so far been set up in the state. As per the vision of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao these urban parks are being built. The government has spent Rs 3 to Rs 4 crore for each urban park. Stressing the need for expansion of greenery in the state, Indrakaran Reddy said the State government launched Haritha Haram program across the state to ensure pollution-free atmosphere.
Appealing to people to join green drive and protect saplings, the minister hoped that coordination among local leaders and officials will ensure green environment.(Maxim News)
