CII Telangana Initiatives To Support Industry And Community In wake Of COVID-19
Hyderabad, April 2 (Maxim News): CII Telangana organised an virtual session with Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce, ITE&C departments, Government of Telangana.
The session was organised to provide a platform to industry members to put forward their issues faced by the industry in Telangana due to the lockdown in the wake of COVID-19.
Members discussed on issues faced by the MSMEs, challenges with regards to transport bottleneck for essential services and labour issues.
Principal Secretary assured to look into these issues and a relief package for the MSMEs would be announced soon.
With regards to the Relief and Rehabilitation initiatives for COVID-19 undertaken by CII Telangana members, TCS Hyderabad today donated 5000 masks to DGP office. They have earlier donated 16000 masks to Gandhi Hospital, Cyberabad, Rachakonda and Hyderabad city police.
NATCO Trust also donated 5000 masks and 2000 sanitizers and gloves to five panchyats of Kothur and Nandigam Mandals, Rangareddy district.
To support the migrant workers, Young Indians Hyderabad chapter of CII distributed 5,500 food packets all over Hyderabad for the with the support of Telangana Police today. ITC Ltd.-PSPD distributed 1000 food packets to migrant workers in Bhadrachalam. (Maxim News)
