KTR Tours Containment Zone In GHMC Take Stock Of Relief Measures Initiated By Civic Body

Hyderabad, April 16 (Maxim News): MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao along with GHMC Commissioner DS Lokesh inspected containment in Khairatabad, Mallepally and Vijayanagar areas and appealed to the residents to cooperate with the official machinery.

During the visit, the Minister keenly observed the steps being taken by the civic body to contain COVID- 19. The minister said officials had made necessary arrangements to provide essential goods to residents at their doorsteps to avoid any inconvenience. Enquiring about the supply of essential goods in each area, he also assured them that the government would ensure essential goods without any hindrance.

The GHMC Commissioner explained the methodology followed by them to provide the essential commodities to the residents of the containment zones. In his interaction with the residents , he told them that there was nothing to worry about the corona virus and added that they were ensuring the stocks of the essential commodities. He urged the residents to remain in their homes and extend cooperation with the state government. The civic body has announced 123 areas as containment zones in the city. (Maxim News)
