Union Minister Katharia pats KCR for Controlling Covid Cases in TS
Hyderabad, May 18 (Maxim News): Union Minister for Jalashakthi Abhiyan Rathanlal Katharia today appreciated Telangana for trying its best to control Covid-19 cases.
He telephoned to state Panchayat Raj Minister, E Dayakar Rao and appreciated Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao for preventive measures. The central minister has said that they are aware of Telangana steps to prevent virus spread and information from other states on the issue.
Rao said that Katharia expressed satisfaction over less cases in Telangana compared to other states. He appreciated Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao for taking advance steps to check Corona virus spread.
The Union minister asked about Covid cases, virus spread and containment zones in Hyderabad and other districts affected by the virus. Katharia mainly said that the KCR government is able to check the cases, while other states are seeing rise in the positive cases Dayakar said.
Dayakar Rao said that around 40 cases being reported in Hyderabad these days. Telangana districts and villages are almost free if the cases. Telangana has been effectively implementing lockdown norms as per Central guidelines and imlementing norms in containment and red zones in Hyderabad.
KCR is first among others in the country to extend lockdown till month end besides offering 12 kg rice and Rs 1500 to migrant workers.
We are taking appropriate steps to check the virus spread, treatment to positive cases, lockdown norms, containment, red and hot zones. Katharia said that they are aware of Telangana taking measures to check positive cases and welfare. (Maxim News)
