Telangana: Engineering, Pharmacy 1st Year Classes To Begin From Dec 1

The classes for the first-year engineering and pharmacy courses will begin from December 1 for the academic year 2020-21. The admissions for the courses will be closed by November end and the classes will be commenced from December 1, said JNTU-H registrar Professor Manzur Hussain said.
“The varsity and affiliated college principals have been instructed to begin the classes according to the schedule,” he added. He further said that the classes for second, third and final-year students had already begun adhering to COVID-19 norms and students are being allowed to attend the classes nearby colleges. The syllabus for the courses are nearing completion and the semester exams will be conducted in January, Hussain said.
Every year, the classes for UG engineering and pharmacy courses begin from August 1. However, this year, due to the pandemic, the TS EAMCET exam and admissions were delayed. To compensate for the loss of working days, the university is planning to hold the classes on Sundays besides curtailing the summer vacation.
