Rachakonda Police Arrests Gang Involved in Fake Currency Notes
Hyderabad, June 23 (Maxim News): Rachakonda police today arrested a gang involved in the circulation of fake currency notes. The police received a complaint from one an astrologer Murali Krishna on 15th June 2021.
In his complaint he told the police that gems worth Rs. 40 lakh were stolen from his house. The inquiry by the police found that the Murali Krishna was the prime accused behind the fake currency notes circulation scam. The police seized Rs.17.72 crore comprising of notes of Rs.2000 denomination, Rs.6.32 lakh cash, 10 mobile phones and a car from the possession of the accused. They also arrested six other accused in the case. Murali Krishna had gone to jail in a Rs. 90 crore hawala scam in the past. (Maxim News)
