Hyderabad, July 31 (Maxim News): Telangana State Planning Board (TSPB) Vice Chairman, B Vinod Kumar addressed the Newly Recruited Junior Assistants, who are undergoing an Induction Training Program at Dr MCR HRD Institute of Telangana.
Vinod stated, with a sense of pride, that the commitment of the Government to Irrigation, Power Generation, Health Infrastructure, Quality Education, and Filling up Vacant Posts, under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, brought in its wake multiple beneficial outcomes for different Stakeholders and thereby made Telangana a Model State, which is being emulated by other States, from across the country.
Continuing his address, Vinod said that the abundant availability of power and water, transfer of money to accounts of farmers as a part of Rythu Bandhu scheme, purchase of agricultural produce, and successful implementation of Rythu Bima Scheme, gave a new-found confidence to farmers, boosted agricultural and other activities, and thereby led to the V-shape recovery of the economy of the Telangana State, immediately after the onslaught of the second wave of Covid Pandemic.
He stated that the conceptualization and implementation of innovative welfare schemes, which were first of their kind in the entire country, resulted in finding enduring solutions to problems of different vulnerable sections of society, especially their women counterparts.
“While people belonging to middle and upper-middle classes have the resources to address their problems, their counter parts from the poorer sections of society, especially women and those who belong the rural areas, need the continuous help by the Government”, stated Vinod and added that the welfare schemes are the need of the hour and are not at all a burden of the exchequer.
