Congress fed stomachs of poor people: Seethakka

Hyderabad, Aug.1 (Maxim News): Congress party MLA D. Seethakka today said that the greatness of the Congress party was that it had fed the stomachs of poor people of the country. She said that the ruling TRS party has the culture of cheating people. Likening the attacks on tribals who are cultivating podu lands to the attacks by the British rulers , she said that the attacks were being by the TRS party rulers like the Britishers on the tribals of the state.

She made these remarks while talking to media persons after paying tributes to martyrs at Indravelli martyrs memorial. She inspected the arrangements being made for the upcoming party program Dalita Girijana Dandora in the area. The protest programs will be held on 9th of this month.

Speaking on the occasion she said that the congress party had provided rights to the tribals over forest land. She alleged that CM KCR was taking away the lands from the poor people and the tribals and added that the CM was handing over the same lands to the corporate companies.

She said that the congress party would launch its fight from the historic Indravelli by drawing inspiration from quit India movement . She made it clear that their fight would continue against the TRS led state government until it was defeated . (Maxim News)
